Friends of Northwest Vizsla Rescue Alliance, Inc and anyone who has adopted a Vizsla through Rescue is welcome to attend our Reunion Potluck on April 17, 2010 beginning at 10am. This event will be held at Field of Dreams Kennels in Sweet Home, OR. Directions can be found here Field Of Dreams.
Please bring a dish to share. If you’d like to see what your dog can do in the field, the cost is $10 per dog; pigeons are free and chukars are $10.

Our first rescue of the year came to us from a Washington shelter just two weeks ago. She is currently brushing up on her manners and will be ready to go to a new home in the next two weeks. Although a Vizsla/Lab mix, she is all Vizsla in personality. A couple of days ago, we pulled a young male from a southern Oregon shelter and tomorrow we are expecting a senior gal from a different Washington shelter. That means we are up 300% for the same time period last year. I hope this is not a trend for 2010 but I am happy we are here to provide a service for Vizslas who are without the safety net of their breeder.
